His basketball career took him overseas for ten years, playing in Europe and South America. In 2014, Kendrick retired from basketball and entered the insurance industry, driven by his passion for educating people on the significance of proper coverage.

In 2017, Kendrick opened his State Farm office in Lawrenceville, establishing himself as an active member of the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce and serving as the Co-President of The Suwanee Network. His agency has received prestigious awards such as the Honor's Club and Ambassador Club within State Farm.
